About Me
I have chosen animation as my main medium and a career path early on. In pursuit of this goal, I have enrolled and subsequently graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in the UK with a Bachelor's Degree in Animation production. I have since entered the industry through multiple volunteer projects, commercial projects, student short films and long-term studio projects. I have worked on a variety of animation endevours and am always on the lookout for more opportunities.
I have experience in hand-drawn animation, as well as puppet animation. The program I'm most comfortable and experienced with is Toon Boom Harmony, but I have also worked with several Adobe Suite programs, CelAction and Storyboard Pro.
Experience
October 2022 - June 2023
Himal - animation lead and 2D character animator. A 2023 graduation short film - my thesis film. My role included character design, creature design, storyboard artist, rough, tiedown and cleanup animation.
March 2023
L'Allunaggio del Lupo - storyboard artist. An animated short film designed to be screened during a live perfomance of the film's soundtrack. I have storyboarded a few sections of the script.
June 2023
Lupus Films. I have been a part of a CelAction course organised and led by the Lupus Films animation studio. It has taken place remotely and lasted two weeks.
October 2023 - December 2023
Lantern - 2D character animator and character designer. A short film trailer used as a pitch material. Along with two other animators, we have produced a minute long 2D animation based within a 3D environment.
January 2022 - February 2022
The Moonseeker - 2D character animator. A 2022 graduation short film. I have completed several tiedown animation shots for the film.
November 2021 - January 2022
Middle Watch - 2D character animator. A short film directed by John Stevenson and Aiesha Penwarden. My role as a 2D character animator included rough and tiedown animation for the film.
December 2020 - present
Warrior Cats Animated - 2D character animator. An indie production series based on award-winning book series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. My role as a 2D character animator so far included animation tests, run cycles, assignments, rough and cleanup animation for teasers and trailers.
October 2020 - June 2023
BA Hons Animation production course at Arts University Bournemouth. Polished and developed my skills, learnt about the production pipeline and applied this knowledge while working on two graduation films.
April 2024 - May 2025
Supertato (BBC, Blue Zoo) - junior 2D animator. Season 2 of a preschool/early school kids show based on a book series. Working in a group with other junior animators, a mid animator, a lead animator and the animation director. 52 episodes lasting 7 minutes, made using puppet animation in Toon Boom Harmony.
June 2025 - April 2026
Duck & Frog (BBC, Sun and Moon) - junior 2D animator. New slapstick comedy animation series for prescholers/early school kids. Working in one of the four small teams, about 6 animators each. 50 episodes lasting 7 minutes, made using puppet animation in Toon Boom Harmony.
